And our Food Vacation continues. For those who haven't read the Introduction to Food Vacation yet and are a bit confused about what I am talking, please click here: Day 1 Dinner@Mochi, Day 1 Drinks@Le Loft
Day 2 started with a huge and healty variety of breakfast menus:
The Weltcafe (translation: Worldcafe) is a popular cafe near to the campus of the University of Vienna, but not only students love to "hang out" at this place. They have a great variety of breakfast options (all included with tea, coffee or hot chocolate from the brand Zotter), on Sunday they also offer a huge breakfast buffett. Unfortunately it wasn't Sunday when we visited it, but the "normal" breakfast is also pretty delicious.
Since we were very hungry we decided to order 3 breakfast instead of 2.
We ordered:
Oriental Breakfast (Hummus, Falafel, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Pita Bread)
Turkish Breakfast (Creamcheese, Falafel, Tomatoes, Honey, Bread)
Nepalese Breakfast (Applemomos covered in chocolate (a bit like Empananades filled with Apples), Milkrice)
My favourite breakfast is the Oriental one - I just love having this creamy Hummus mixed with the pita bread and the falafel - YUM.
We were really full after having this meal, but it was worth it - we could try so many different things and I also had the chance to try something new! So, if you don't know how Applemomos tastes like - what are you waiting for?!
